The UAE’s commitment to humanitarianism began even before the nation’s formal establishment. Guided by the vision of the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE has consistently extended support to communities worldwide, regardless of nationality or belief. This enduring ethos of generosity, known as al-‘aṭā’ al-Imārātī (the Emirati spirit of giving), is deeply embedded in the nation’s identity and continues to shape its global engagements.
